Enhancements

User Management Page Redesign (Filter By, Sort Icon, Add Button label change)

  • Redesigned the Users Management section per the Figma designs to improve usability for Org Owners/Uni Admins. The "Filter By" dropdown maintains current functionality (Status, Account Type, Module Access) with updated design and visual pill indicators. Added sorting icons to all columns and changed the “Add” button label to “Add User”.

Manage Dropdown Button Functionality

Implemented the “Manage” dropdown button with two actions: "Reinvite Users" and "Remove Users".

  • These buttons are disabled when no users are selected.
  • The "Reinvite Users" button is only enabled for users with a "Pending Invitation" status and shows an information icon for guidance.
  • Mass actions include a confirmation prompt, and upon sending invites or removing users, appropriate feedback is shown to the user.
  • Functional per Figma with greyed-out states based on selection logic.

Checkbox Functionality in Users Page

Enabled multi-user selection via checkboxes in the Users Management page.

  • A “Select All” checkbox selects users on the current page only.
  • The number of selected users is displayed under the search bar.
  • Selections persist when navigating across pages unless filters are reset or the selection is cleared.

Update Usage Page Layout to Match Figma Design

  • The Usage page has been redesigned to match updated Figma layouts. Usage bars have been removed, and usage amounts are now displayed beneath the relevant data for a cleaner, more consistent UI across modules.

Manage hierarchical User assignment upon creation of a new child Organization

  • When a new child organization is created, all users with the role “Grant sub-organization access” in parent orgs are automatically assigned to the new org.
  • Logic covers creation via UI, Nova, and API.
  • Ensures users receive the correct access when modules are added to the new child org, including universal admins and module-specific admins.

Spanish Language Support for User Management Page

  • Translated the Manage > Users page into Spanish. All static text, labels, buttons, and headings now appear in Spanish when that language preference is set.

Org owner can manage hierarchical user access

Adjusted logic to ensure that org owners automatically get SubOrgAccess when:

  • A child org is created under their organization
  • Ownership changes on a parent org ensures seamless administration of hierarchical orgs.

 Updated Delete User Modal Text

  • The delete user modal now has clearer and consistent messaging.
  • Modal body text updated to: “Are you sure you want to delete this user from your organization?”
  • The confirmation button now displays “Delete” and cancel button remains “Cancel”.

Bug Fixes

When the string containing a comma separated children IDs exceeds 1024, the hierarchy in org switcher is not correct

  • Fixed an issue where organization hierarchy would break in the org switcher if the child org ID string exceeded 1024 characters. Now supports large numbers of child orgs without UI issues.

Change of Organization Owner does not make new owner a Universal Admin

  • When a non-universal admin user is made Organization Owner, they are now automatically granted Universal Admin rights.
  • Ensures new Org Owners have full access to all modules and admin controls.
  • Resolves issue where new Org Owners were locked out of admin functions.

Mouse hover on the Delete button in manage Users page is showing a stop mouse pointer

  • Previously, when hovering over the Delete button in the Manage > Users page, the cursor incorrectly displayed a "stop" pointer for all users. Change: The cursor now displays the correct pointer when hovering over the Delete button for deletable users.

Bug Fixes

"Partners" button opens link in same tab instead of new tab

  • The "Partners" button on the user dashboard now opens the Ministry Brands Partners page in a new browser tab. Users can access partner information without losing their current dashboard session.

Unnecessary Horizontal Line on Dashboard

  • Resolved a visual issue on the Amplify dashboard where a horizontal line was displayed under the welcome message. The divider now only appears when the AI chat element is enabled for the organization.

Mobile App: Service Planning May Not Load

  • Some users on the Mobile App experienced issues accessing Service Planning because of a background process that deleted old session data. We've fixed this so you won't have to log out and back in again—your sessions should stay active as expected.

Security Updates

PHP upgrade (8.2 to 8.4) Upgraded application environments from PHP 8.2 to 8.4.

  • Updated Docker configs, pipelines, and deployment scripts

  • Verified all dependencies and frameworks for compatibility

  • Ensures only authorized admins or org owners can grant sub-org access, maintaining organizational security and clarity.

  • Adding or Updating Users and Permissions: Cancelled or Expired Trial Modules no longer appear among the options listed, decluttering the process.

  • Subscriptions Tab: Cancelled or Expired Trial Modules will now display a pill button that clearly indicates the module status. In addition, the “Open” button has been changed to "Subscribe" (screenshot below).

Rename "Organizational User" field to "Sub-organization access"

  • We've updated the user access assignment terminology to be clearer and intuitive.
  • The "Make organizational user" checkbox is now labeled "Sub-organization access".
  • The "Make universal admin" checkbox is now simply "Universal admin".
  • These changes aim to provide a better understanding of the access levels granted to users.

Dashboard now shows Trial expired modules

  • Trial expired modules are now visible on the Dashboard, providing a more accurate overview of module statuses.

Corrected "Back to Login" link functionality

  • The "Back to Login" link on the Set Password screen now correctly redirects users to the login page, rather than reloading the current page.

March 11th, 2025 (v. 1.24.0)

Enhancements:

Easily view and export monthly usage data!

Organization Owners and Universal Admins can now easily track data usage for each Amplify module.

Amplify-Usage-Data-Overview-Initial-Release.png

What is Usage Data? Some Amplify modules may have product usage limits based on your contract. For example, an Amplify Streaming plan provides a certain amount of monthly streaming hours and storage. We call this Usage Data.

Where to find Usage Data:

  • On the Amplify home screen, click the Manage tile.
  • Click Invoices in the left sidebar. You'll notice a new Usage tile.
  • Click View, and you'll see a new screen that displays usage data for each Amplify module.
  • Use the Date dropdown to view different months.
  • If desired, click the Export CSV button to download an Excel spreadsheet of that month's usage data history.

Note: Monthly usage data will be displayed on the 2nd of each month.

What's Next?

We plan to include usage allotments on this screen in a future update. Once completed, you'll be able to view your current usage data against what's included in your Amplify plan. (For example, 820 out of 1000 Amplify People records).

At that time, the progress bars will become functional, and you'll see your current usage data vs. total allotment after each Amplify module—see the example below.

October 8th, 2024 (v.1.16.0)

Enhancements:

  • Bookmarked Login URLs: Previously, if you bookmarked the Amplify login screen, using the bookmark would display a generic Auth0 error. With this update, login page bookmarks will correctly open the Amplify login screen. After you log in, the appropriate Amplify module will open.

August 27th, 2024 (v.1.13.0)

Fixes

  • Mobile App: When users created a new password, the password requirements did not ‘turn green’ as each was met. Users will now see accurate password requirement validations.

We also removed unnecessary text from the Forgot Password screen on the mobile app, providing a cleaner and more user-friendly experience.

June 6th, 2024 (v.1.12.0)

Enhancements

Updated Login Screen

  • In preparation for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), we have updated the Amplify Login Screen. Both the Username and Password fields appear for quicker login. (Note: In the next release we’ll be adding back our branding in the background).

    New-Login-Without-Border.jpg

Note: In the near future, we plan to require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to login to Amplify. In other words, for added security, you'll need to verify your account by Text Message, Email, or an Authenticator App.

Fixes

  • General > User Permissions: If access to a module was removed from a user, that module would still display in the App-Switcher menu at the top left of the Amplify Dashboard. (Note: Despite this display issue, the user could not access the module.) We corrected this issue and modules removed from the user no longer appear in the App-Switcher menu.
  • General > Error when Adding Users: In rare situations when adding new users, especially when all modules were selected, a 500 Error would appear. We have corrected the root cause behind this issue.
  • General > Dashboard: Design elements were not properly centered on the Amplify Dashboard in certain scenarios.

May 21st, 2024 (v1.11.4)

Enhancements

App Builder is now Mobile App

  • We've changed the name of App Builder to Mobile App. The term "Mobile App" is more widely used, and we wanted our software name to reflect that. You'll see this change reflected in https://myaccount.amplify.io as well as our Help and Marketing materials.
    • Note: Your staff or members will not notice changes within your mobile app. The name "App Builder" was not member-facing.
